Cultural Festival Display
In honor of Lyndon’s Cultural Festival the Library presents a display of materials on world folk art. From Japanese netsuke to Norwegian rosemaling, from Pueblo pottery to Balinese story cloths, the display will celebrate the creativity of many world cultures. The collection will be on display from March 8th to the 19th.

Faces of Our Foremothers
In celebration of Women’s History Month, the library offers a display that goes back to the 19th century, to focus on the individuals who shaped the American women’s rights movement at that time. Some faces will be familiar, some will not, but all should be recognized for their courageous efforts.

Kill-a-Watts
The Library has purchased two “Kill-A-Watt” power monitors primarily for use by the Sustainability Program but also for check out to the LSC community. These units measure the amount of electricity being used by various household appliances. Just ask at the circulation desk if you’re interested in checking one out.
