"The Finer Points of Being a Vermonner" Lyndon graduate Leon Thompson recently had his book Not Too Awful Bad : A Storyteller’s Guide to Vermont reviewed in Seven Days. The article mentions that Leon will be here at the Library at noon on March 31st to discuss his book and “the finer points of being a Vermonner (sic).” Hope to see you then!
Faces of Our Foremothers In celebration of Women’s History Month, the library offers a display that goes back to the 19th century, to focus on the individuals who shaped the American women’s rights movement at that time. Some faces will be familiar, some will not, but all should be recognized for their courageous efforts.
New Titles -- February, 2010 Our listings of titles added to our collection during the month of February has just been posted. Check "New Titles" on the dark green sidebar on the left, or New Titles here.
